Tropical and skeptical are lookalikes: tropical has first-syllable stress and /p/ instead of /r/ (/ˈtrɒpɪkəl/), and skeptical has /skɛp/ and a different vowel (/ˈskɛptɪkəl/), so they do not rhyme.
