Pronunciation & Spelling
Synopsis 读作 /sɪˈnɑpsɪs/，重音在第二个音节；没有常见的完全同韵词。Biopsy（/ˈbaɪɑpsi/）和 autopsy（/ˈɔːtɑpsi/）在拼写上有 -ops-，但重音在词首且末尾没有 /s/。Crisis（/ˈkraɪsɪs/）、analysis（/əˈnæləsɪs/）、diagnosis（/ˌdaɪəɡˈnoʊsɪs/）、thesis（/ˈθiːsɪs/）都以 -sis 结尾，但重读元音不同，不能只按拼写猜音。
