All these words end with the spelling '-inal' and share a similar ending /ɪnəl/, but their stressed vowels differ. Only 'cardinal' has the same stressed vowel /ɑː/ as 'marginal', yet the following sounds differ (/rd/ vs /rdʒ/), so they do not rhyme perfectly. 'Criminal' and 'original' have /ɪ/, 'terminal' has /ɜː/, 'nominal' has /ɑː/ (but with a different consonant), and 'final' has /aɪ/. None rhyme exactly with 'marginal'.
