发音与拼写Pronunciation & Spelling
brainwash 的重音在第一个音节 brain 上；末尾的 wash 与 wash、whitewash 的 /wɒʃ/ 读音相同，brain 和 brainy 保留了开头的 /breɪn/ 读音。squash 与 wash 押 /ɒʃ/ 韵，但 brainwash 因重音在 brain，不能简单地与这些词押整词韵。注意 splash 拼写像 wash，但读 /splæʃ/，发音不同。
