Pronunciation & Spelling
Tyrannosaurus, Brontosaurus and Stegosaurus rhyme with thesaurus: all end in a stressed /-ˈsɔːrəs/ syllable. Dinosaur and saurian share the spelling 'saur' but have the stress earlier, so they do not rhyme. Sauce keeps the same 'sau' spelling with /sɔː/, but the words are not rhymes.
