Pronunciation & Spelling
Only 'bargain' rhymes exactly with 'jargon' (both have /ɑr/ + /ɡən/). Words like 'organ', 'dragon', 'wagon', 'slogan' share the same unstressed final syllable /ɡən/ but differ in the stressed vowel. 'Hexagon' is a spelling lookalike with a different final vowel sound (/ɡɑn/).
