表示“创始的、最早参与的”要用 founding（由现在分词转化而来的形容词）；founded 表示“有根据的”或是动词 found 的过去分词，不能修饰 member 表示这一意思。

founded 表示“以……为依据”时固定搭配介词 on；in 一般跟在动词 found（建立）后面接地点或年份，如 founded in 1990，因此这里要改为 founded on。

表示“很有根据”时，英语用 well 与 founded 搭配，构成 well founded / well-founded；founded 这一形容词不能用 very 这类程度副词直接修饰。

grounded有根据的；基于事实的

grounded 强调以事实或现实为根基，常见于 be grounded in sth、well-grounded 等结构，重心在论证的根基；founded 则表示‘有根据的’，几乎只出现在 well-founded 这一搭配中，多修饰 suspicion、fear、belief、argument 等抽象名词。两者在‘有依据’这一层可以互换，但 grounded 更常单独作表语并后接 in，founded 则更依赖 well- 前缀。

justified有正当理由的；合理的

justified 带有‘合乎情理、理应如此’的评价色彩，多用于行为、情绪或结论，常与 feel、seem、be 连用；founded 不作对错评判，只客观说明某想法或担忧有依据，且通常以 well-founded 形式出现。说‘她的愤怒是合理的’用 justified，说‘这种担忧有根据’用 well-founded。

sound合理的；可靠的

sound 修饰 argument、judgement、advice、reasoning 等，强调逻辑严密、经得起检验；founded 只说明‘有根据’，不评价推理质量本身。两者都能修饰 argument，但 a sound argument 侧重论证站得住，a well-founded argument 侧重有事实支撑，且 founded 通常需要 well- 才自然。
