发音与拼写Pronunciation & Spelling
These six words all share the stressed ending /-luːʒən/ and rhyme with allusion. Their spelling ends in -sion, which is pronounced the same way. Beware that allusion /əˈluːʒən/ and illusion /ɪˈluːʒən/ look and sound similar but differ in the first vowel and in meaning. Also avoid confusing allusion with lookalikes like 'alloy' or 'ally', which do not rhyme with it.
