We had the whole report redone by a native speaker.
我们请一位母语者把整份报告重做了一遍。
sth needs to be redone
need 后接不定式的被动式，表示某事物需要被重做。
This section needs to be redone.
这一部分需要重做。

常见错误Common mistakes
易错句子I redoed the whole report last night.正确表达I redid the whole report last night.
redo 是不规则动词，过去式是 redid（过去分词是 redone），不能按规则动词那样加 -ed 写成 redoed。
易错句子The teacher told us to redo the test again.正确表达The teacher told us to redo the test.
redo 本身的意思就是“再做一遍”，已经含有 again 的意思，再加 again 会造成语义重复，删去即可。
易错句子This exercise needs redo.正确表达This exercise needs to be redone.
need 后面不能直接跟动词原形；表示“需要被……”时要用 need to be done 或 need doing，因此应说 needs to be redone（也可说 needs redoing）。
