发音与拼写Pronunciation & Spelling
All words end in -cept, pronounced /sɛpt/. However, stress varies: concept and precept have first-syllable stress (CON-cept, PRE-cept), while accept, except, incept, percept, intercept have second-syllable stress (ac-CEPT, ex-CEPT, etc.). Therefore, they do not rhyme with concept. The -cept ending is a spelling pattern only.
